Scott Thompson
Scott Thompson launched his first business in 2004, starting Scotty’s Pottys Inc. with more hustle than experience and growing it from a small operation into a profitable company. In 2008, he expanded into the Rooter-Man franchise system, adding drain cleaning and plumbing to broaden services and accelerate growth. In 2011, Scott sold the portable restroom division to focus fully on scaling the home-services business. He continued expanding and, in 2018, introduced a higher-end brand—Thompson & Thompson Service Group—adding HVAC as a cornerstone service. In 2019, he added electrical services, transforming Thompson & Thompson into a full-spectrum provider. Under Scott’s leadership, the business became a leading home-services brand across the Coastal Empire and Low Country. He ultimately sold Thompson & Thompson in January of 2022 to a private equity firm.
